Early summer 2019 brought me back to the Camino Frances for research and updates to my new Camino de Santiago guidebook. I walked the Valcarlos route out of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and then, To save time, I rented a bike beginning in Roncesvalles. From there I bike in about 16 days to Santiago de Compostela and then rented a car to head to the Costa da Morte to walk from Hospital to Muxia.
